About
I’m currently a PhD Candidate in the Geospatial and Environmental Analysis program at Virginia Tech (VT). My work centers around leveraging petabyte-scale archives of remotely sensed imagery to investigate landscape vegetation change due to a variety of disturbances (e.g., pest infestations, tropical cyclones).
- I am an active member of the Interdisciplinary Graduate Experience Program in remote sensing (IGEP-RS) at VT.
- I have multiple work-related experiences under my belt, from internships at NASA (three, at various centers including Goddard and JPL), U.S. Department of the Interior, and post-undergraduate work with the U.S. Forest Service and North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality.
